It will surely end up looking very tired and will probably land in the happy hands of some single guest. And… No, we don’t mean your boyfriend’s best friend, but your bridal bouquet!  For this we have asked our florist Maria to give us some wise advice for the perfect choice.

1 Focus on our search

Choose your bouquet depending on your dress and your body type. If you are short avoid the cascading bouquets that will make you visually smaller. If you have curves you can choose a bouquet more voluminous. And a very important rule: the more opulent your dress is: rhinestones, embroideries, inlays, etc… The simplest must be the bouquet.

2 Follow the trend

Cascade Bouquet? Forget it! Too 80’s, as well as orchids and fleur-de-Lys… Now the trend is set more on the chic and the country style. More like  «I’ve picked them up myself». And also forget the jewels embedded in the bouquet. Old-fashioned.

3 Privilege seasonal flowers

It’s always a success! Grandmothers have always said so…… always better to go with seasonal fruit, flowers and vegetables. This way you will always get the right choice and you will definitely have the best quality of each specie. The best thing to do is to follow the suggestion of the florist team that will design your bouquet. Safe bets are the peonies, powdered tone roses the Pitiman rose, Astrantia, chrysanthemums, Daisy, Limonium Rosa, the Astilbe…

4 Choose the perfect greens

The foliage that is going to accompany our flowers is almost as important as the flowers themselves Now we see a lot of eucalyptus branches or olive branches, very typical of the Island. Lavender, daisies, Paniculatas, evergreen plants or green buttonwood became part of the most cheerful and wild bouquets.

5 Think if we want to wear crown…

If you want to wear a crown of natural flowers, better follow the suggestion of the experts, to avoid to overload the outfit. Choose flowers that do not dry quickly so that they don’t loose the shine too fast, especially if the wedding is in summer.

6 Inspirarse mucho

No te cortes y mira, mira y mira ¡mucho!

6 Let yourself be inspired

Look around yourself, watch weddings in magazines, buy reviews specializing in brides, search your favorite boards of Pinterest; your search will make things easier as you will have a base on which to let you advise.

7 Request a Trial

Leave the surprises for another moment in your life and always ask for a small trial of what you are going to wear on big-day! It is the best way to know that we are going to be sure of our choice and that we are going to wear our bridal bouquet very proud!
